have you read a little princess?

you learn that every girl is a princess.
status, colour, name, none of that matters.
you’re a girl, and all the stars crown you a princess.

my 21st century adaptation to that?
every girl is a diva.
;)

makes sense. none of us would be caught dead walking around in fluffy skirts and tiaras. unless of course we’re at some funky crank party, but that’s besides the point.

NO I DID NOT BECOME AN OVERNIGHT NARCISSIST (took me a long while to achieve that status haha) .

I’m diva-ing simply because, I’m entering this contest by Diva&TIC.
I have to blog about my most DIVA moment. Hahaha.

I have had a LOT of diva moments I must say.

But this year, on my sweet 16th, must have been the best diva moment of them all.
Small party, but I loved the people and I loved the coloured drinks, shiny disco balls, and vintage records. I loved my black feathered boa, my gigantic yellow sunnies and the purple afro. I loved listening to Lady Soverign though none of my guests enjoyed British pop rock as much as I do.

Mosttt of all, I loved it when I got my red-lipstick cake, and blew the candles.

Very diva.
lets hope i win.
xoxo.

I’m always late, I know.
Merry Christmas everyone :)

So how did I celebrate my xmas day?
My parents decided to go to Thailand for their bazillionth honeymoon.

:D

I don’t know about you people. BUT MANN I TOTALLY LOOKED LIKE A PRESENT OKAY! I EVEN DECIDED TO “PRESENT” MYSELF TO EDWARD CULLEN.

To; Edward C. ;)

Sorry Mr.Selenia, Edward Cullen sorta…dazzles me more =p

Wanna know what’s really really ironic?
My label says Edward C. right?
Well, Sandra invited her friend called Edward also. And his last name starts with the letter C also!!!!! O.O”’

Meet Edward C. HAHAHAHA

I will never get over that, sorry :p

OH OH OH OH OH OH OH.
THEY MADE.
GINGERBREAD MEN.
SOOOOOOOOOO DELICIOUS.

AND AND AND, EVERYONE HAD THEIR ONE LITTLE PERSONALIZED GINGERBREAD MAN!

E=mc2. Because Branden’s a nerddd (:

Because Sandra likes my pink lingerie.(:

Need I say more about Dayangs version??? XD

The party was indeed fun.

Started off with “Hey, I’m Shivani! Yeah, Edward Cullen. No, not Edward Cheah. Yes, I’m one of those twilight crazy girls. No la, I love the CHARACTER not the stupid ACTOR”

Then off to our yummy dinner.

Eating the Dayang-gingerbread man with Ivan (:

Then going upstairs for some p&c fun and games :p

We had a great time.
The boys and us were singing our hearts out to sexy, naughty, bissy and more weird cheesy karaoke songs!
:D

This morning,
I’m on my moms bed, using her laptop,
chatting with Nadhir,
while having horrible cramps,
and watching cheesy friday morning cartoons (:

Then,
Michelle walks in.
Shannya walks in.
Some tall hot white guy walks in.

And I’m in shock.

dumdumdidum.

We have a “Wrap It Up” party tomorrow.
Basically, we have to dress up as PRESENTS ;) I was telling this to my aunt via facebook.

Her reaction?
“Nobody better be unwrapping presents at this party!!”

Bahahahaha.

dumdumdidum.

10 minutes after I reached home from a neverending journey back home from Singapore,
I get into the car,
and make my way to Arens Surprise 17th!

(:

It was a pretty laidback, chillax party. All the BOYS though, were pretty excited ._.
Take note these guys range from the age of 10 - 24 (haha, soon seng!)

SERIOUSLY.
THEY ALL.
LIKE.
SITTING ON EACH OTHER.

After the party, I went home and K.O’d.
O.O’

dumdumdidum.

It’s been an interesting week.
Lots of things I wish I could put up here,
but I’ll let you ponder.

(:

I don’t like making excuses to explain myself on why I haven’t blogged in a long while.
Honestly, I was actually thinking of not blogging anymore.

I mean, seriously, it’s just…not as deep as it used to be anymore.

But then I was talking to YewWing about it. He was brilliant (: He said something along the lines of “You’re a completely new person. You know your friends and yourself. When you read your old blog posts, you can still see the old new evolving into the new you”

SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

I read in Joyce Wongs blog once.
She takes pictures because she consumes too much alcohol and won’t be able to remember all the fun she’s had.

I guess I believe in the same concept. Minus the alcohol bit. My memory is just, horrible. And I just want to, remember, every moment of me growing up. So when I’m old, it won’t be in a haze. I’ll always remember all the eating-fries-in-class-while-we-have-math and the neverending list of themed parties we have.

So, we’ll see how the next year goes.
If I’m still inspired by Joyce & YewWing, then the blog stays.

Otherwise, in November, byebye ohsopanas.com
Damn, means I’ll need a new, less cool e-mail :P

I’LL STOP RAMBLING NOW, GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ.

I promise to blog soon.
xoxo.

Greetings, from the enemyland! (i mean Singapore, of course) :)

Well. So far, so good. I do enjoy the shopping here I must say. Finally got my hands on a satin maxi! I see like, amazingly a lot in Malaysia, but none of them are well, NICE ENOUGH.

But this one.

Wooohoooo, gorgeous.

Anyways, I have to be breif, I’m blogging from a McDonalds that’s in a mall near our apartment.
Lots of kids. Very noisy.
I hate kids.
>.<

Things I've noticed about Singapore/Singaporeans.
1. There is a mall in EVERY housing/apartment-ing area.
2. 90% of Singaporean men wear slippers.
3. They hate us. Everyone honks at our car. SO MUCH FOR POLITE SINGAPOREANS.
4. They diss us in their newspaper.

I was reading this article (about Raja Petra, of course) ONE WHOLE LONG BLADY PAGE.
And in the end, they wrote

“we couldn’t care less”

Yes, I’m sure you don’t which is why you dedicated an entire tribute on my country.
Anyways, time to go!
xoxo.

P.S//Christmas presents bought!!

…which is how you’re supposed to feel when you’re young.

Thursday;
Bangsar with Shalina and Carmen. (: Mission; Red Dress. Though, everytime Shalina, Carmen and I decide to ber-Bangsar, it starts to RAIN. So Shalina came prepared, umbrellas, wonderful solution. I still got wet. :(

Me: Come, lets go up here!
Shalina: No, it’s not a store.
Me: It isssss *drags*

And thank GOD I managed to drag here, because, we met him.
He, is breathtakingly beautiful.
He, made my day.
He, gave me butterflies.

This, is him.

Damn cute righttt???

Otherwise, just normal posing & shopping (:

Oh, mission accomplished btw. I got a gorgeous satin black&red dress. (:

Friday;
Went to Guoman with mom and little brother. It was niceee to escape for a while. My mom (who, like us, is a facebook fanatic) mainly used this as an excuse for more facebook albums =p Hehe. Like mother, like daughter.

I love the beach.
I love it when my toes melt into the hot sand.

However, I am terrified/petrified/HORRIFIED by the ocean.
Once the water reaches my ankles, I’m out.

It’s the whole fear of getting stung by a jellyfish.
The tsunami incident.
And after watching Jaws,
NO WAY IN HELL AM I ENTERING THE OCEAN.

But it is, undeniably beautiful.

Saturday;
I took my hot pink blanket, Kee Juns “Brisingr” book, my glasses & a vanilla coke and made my way to the beach. The wind made my already messy hair, go completely wild. It was niceeeee to smell the sea while reading. (:

But then when it came to the point where the wind was so strong, my blanket was pratically flying away, I knew it was time to return to the room.

Once we reached home, I had a little nap. Then I had to get ready foor Anwars Party.
Theme? Red&Greeeeeeeen.

Explains the dress earlier (:

Anwar just turned 17!!!

Haha, but he had SPM, and some drama competition, which didn’t allow him to throw his birthday bash. So he made it a point to organize a post-birthday,post-spm,pre-christmas party. Good for the social butterflies! Mainly because, Anwar is the biggest social butterfly I know, and has friends from like, everywhere.

Anyways, the first picture I post has to be of darling Anwar (and my red dress) :)

I heart euuuu!

And these are the NEW friends :)

Miss Nadira Aara, she’s sooo gorgeous I tell you, and so so so much of fun!

Julian Ong & Nadhir Selenia. Both enoying their after spm freedom. Pfft. ):

OhEmGee, I love him. I really really do. Hari with the hairrrr!

You know her! Emina! She played the Wicked Witch of the West for GIS production (:

Adam Helmi. Hotstuff. ;D

Dear Adam Helmi, hehe. He is honestly…different, I must say. He kills the ego in Justin! Or so he claims. He thinks he’s a babe-magnet. :P Well, he sorta is la. And he also works his charms on…well, guys…

Ahem. (:
It’s hard not to love Adam.

Hehe. OH EM GEE.
My poor darling Anwar got hurt :(

All the boys like, BEAT him.

AND SCARED THE POOR BOYYY.

Anwars party was great. Like, everyone was dancing to kinky ’80s music, and everyone knew the steps!

IT WAS LIKE A FREAKING BOLLYWOOD MOVIE I TELL YOU.

Like you always think “Pfft. All these people JUST went to a party, no WAYYY they can all do the SAMEEE dance steps”

BUT HOMG, THEY ACTUALLY DIIDDD. Sooooo cooool.

Anwar, Hariz, Syaz, Syadil.

Hariz is the dancefloor god.
Seriously

Evidently, I had a really good time. :)

Syida also had a really good time. :)

Denise and Tanisha had a really good time too. :)
*coughIKNOWWHATYOUWERELAUGHINGABOUTSTUPIDScough*

And after I said my goodbyes, I crashed Shriyas party!

My wittle wittle favorite winkie turned fifteeeeen.

SHES SO BIG NOW.
I quoted Jane Austed for her.
She quoted Spongebob.
She really has matured (:

There was this guy at her party.
He’s fifteen. But, soooo good looking.
Hanif Musa.
*drool*

What a wunnnderful way to end the night.
:)

Sunday;
Dad picked me up at 8.30am. I went for tuition.
Bah :(

After tuition, I barely spent 10 minutes at home, and mom drags me out again.
ONCE I FINALLY COME HOME.

I have half an hour to get ready.
And then Mom sends me to Teengs house.

(Notice how I have HARDLY spent any time in my OWN HOME????)

Teeng is getting ready, in her extremely messy room.
We get ready, and go to KL to Palate Pallate for the LapSap BBQ Junkyard Sale.

But once we reached there.
It seemed soo…
icky.
:p

So instead, we went to Pavillion and watched Wild Child.
Love the movie.
Guy is so hot.

Alex Pettyfer

Wooohooo.

After that, we hung out for a while, and then it was THE LONG LONG DRIVE FROM PAVILLION TO MY HOUSE.

We had to ammuse ourselves SOMEHOW, didn’t we?
(:

And I reached home.
FINALLY.
Slept in my own bed.
FINALLY.
And I found someone to waste midnights with.
FINALLY.
:)

What a wonderful weekend.
xoxo.

Bianca came over during the day. We watched Jane Austen Book Club and Becoming Jane.
(: I’m attempting to read Pride&Prejudice. I must say, the Malaysian education system has yet again failed me. I barely understand any of the words I’m reading. But I’m determined to read the entire novel, and understand it, page per page. Who cares about the system. I’ll just be BETTER than that, PFFT.

(Obviously we posed, but I don’t want my readers thinking I’m some narcissistic shit. Although I clearly am :P BUT STILLLLLLLLLLL )

And then at night,
I went to watch The Wiz with Miss Yeoh Pei Teeng. Or also known as THING now,
hahahahahaha. inside joke.

The Wiz was VERY entertaining. It was very well directed! The whole children theme to it made it come to life and definitely made me laugh my laurels off.

Anyways, guess who I bumped into? Dear Johan, Kristian and Vinod.

I see Johan all the time. Kristian, here and there. But Vinod? Wow, first time I’m seeing him after a VERY long time. All these boys, are taller. Me? Still the same la. :(

I ALSO MADE A NEW FRIEND.
MISS ELYZA KHAMIL.
I’ll show you her pic later.

ANYWAYS.
It was a fun night la. After the play we went for ice cream. Bumped into the guys again there. They stuffed themselves into the car with us. Vinod sat on Kristians lap :) Johan, being Johan, sat in between all the girls. “wooohooo, i’m in the backseat with the ladies” right, love. hahaha.

And then we went to Burger King, did a little posing and mom&dad fetched me afterwards.

Teeng and Elyza both think that it was a wonderful Wednesday night. I totally have to agree (: If not for tonight, I would have lost my sanity. Those boys made it hilarious. And Teeng and Elyza are tres awesome. *coughFOR15YEAROLDScough*

Well.

You can’t see their faces. But you know who is sitting on who (;

My newfound friend, Miss Elyza Khamil!

We so cool, we burgerking ROYALTY, yo!

Lol, no seriously, we are :P

So much for not being a narcissistic shit.
Oh wells.
Goodnight loves!
xoxo.

It’s time to take out your canvas shopping bags!
Cause there are more & more junkyard sales this weekend (:

6th & 7th December (Saturday & Sunday) at CAPSQUARE;
TheThreadsZoo presents to you HappyHippyz!

I feel very obliged to blog more on TheThreadsZoo for I have been bias and only promoting Bijou Bazaar. Well, Bijou Bazaar is still pretty new and is still growing. TheThreadsZoo I believe, has been around for a while.

Anyways, besides awesome shopping, you can do loads of other fun stuff there (:

But first, I urge you to dress up like a hippy! Cause there’s a “Spotted Hippyz” contest happening. Best dressed will win awesome goodies and a free test shoot!

What is a hippie?
A hippie is someone who doesn’t conform to society’s standards and advocated a liberal attitude and lifestyle.
(Think John Lennon!)

I think Hanis (MDG) would look absolutely gorgeous if she tried the hippy look.
Well, then again, she looks gorgeous always.

ClothesPile is another thing you may want to visit.
Donate as much as you want, and pay as much as you like.
The money will be donated to an orphanage home that will also be present there (:

Okay so there is this…thing called BookCrossing, really it is BRILLIANT. Bless those who came up with it. Anywhos, TheThreadZoo is in support of it! :D :D :D wheeeeeee

Basically you just BRING a bunch of books you don’t mind parting with, and exchange it with others. I’ve experienced BookCrossing only once in my life.

SERIOUSLY. TRY IT.
Don’t be one of those “katak di bawah tempurong” type of people.

Also, on 7th December (Sunday) at Palate Pallate;

LapSap BBQ junkyard sale yoooo!

If you people have NO idea where Capsquare or Palate Pallate is, I suggest you google it! *GASP*

I have the answer for everything.

xoxo.
