Love Letter to Japan - The Bird and The Bee

Date: 26th July (TOMORROW)
Time: 10am till 10pm (GO AROUND 2PM, Heartbeat is performing!)
Venue: Ground Floor Promenade, 1 Utama

Rather than sitting around and eating chips and salsa doing nothing productive on a Sunday, I suggest you GO! Because knowing Sandra Tan, this even is sure to be amazing :)

My study timetable has officially taken a toll on me; I HAVE NO TIME FOR BLOGGING. Barely enough time to sleep! Maybe I should reconstruct it. I’ve given up paying attention in class, instead I’m revising my physics. Ughhh. My brains are aching because of this.

16th July.
Harry Potter; Harry Potter; Harry Potter; HARRY POTTER!
I admit, the movies are never as great as the books. But since the books are all over, we only have the movies left. I’m holding on to whatever’s left of JK Rowlings brilliant masterpiece.
Carmen, Brindha and I went to One Utama for the 6pm show yo!
I think I was too excited ._. I don’t know. According to them I couldn’t shut up about it lol.
I’m cooool.

17th July.
Literary Night 2009 - Mosaics!
It was amaaaaazing. No blunders. We didn’t fall of the stage, we didn’t rip our pantyhose, we didn’t break a heel, we didn’t topple our hats over. ALL WENT WELL :)
I am a creative genius laaa =p we couldn’t find good hats so Sulekha and I came up with the mini top hat idea and after a whole night of youtube-ing methods and what nots, we got the materials and made these hats. from SCRATCH.Little Miss Victoria Ngow isn’t all debate yo! She’s an awesome emcee and clearly looks gorgeous in her cousins post-wedding dress (:This is Nicola. Nicola is cool.SO PRETTY ;_;Hahaha. Norman and the sluts =pbest teacher ever.Mallini was SOOOOOOOOOO goood. EVERYONE loved her. imo, she was the best (:

Ah yes, Lit Night was amazing.
Even the post-litnight pre-a&w bit was pretty awesome.
You know what I’m talking about :)

“The silence isn’t so bad
Till I look at my hands and feel sad
‘Cause the spaces between my fingers
Are right where yours fit perfectly

Lit Night is this Friday and things in Assunta are getting hectic. Banners are being painted, moscaics are being made, music is being played and everyone is dancing and acting (and making mini top hats) (:

See you Friday night (:

Practie, practice, practice.
Yet I’m still not so perfect ): God only knows what I’m trying to do. But after the BandConcert I realized that it’s more special to be PART of something rather than just watching it. So even if it’s a little part, everyone loves a good cabaret dancer (:

Assunta’s Literature Night is on the 17th of July (ie next Friday). Our theme this year is Mosaics.

Anyways, I have youth camp tomorrow.
So until then I have a major amount of addmaths to do and history to study.
Otherwise my schedule will be totally messed up.

Now, after the dethrone ceremony; Carrie crashed my house supposedly to finish our speech for Monday. Me? Writing a speech ahead of time? Yeah right. We ended up blogstalking and listening to good girls go bad. And we were trying to figure out what to wear for Roweenas Tea Party.

This is a very annoyed Carrie on a very messy bed.

Anywhos, then we made our way for the Tea Party at Smokehouse in Telawi. When Carrie and I walked up..we were like whoa. The entire setting felt as if it was made specially for tea parties. Roweena is very English for some reason o.o She looked gorgeous la that girl in her patent pink Zara wedges and florally dress.

Carrie and I then sat down feeling completely out of place. Then the waiter asks us “Coffee or tea?” I knew it was called a teaparty but I had no idea we would be drinking real tea o.o It was then a few hours of me proving myself to be the least ladylike girl in the Petaling Jaya district. Did you know it’s RUDE to pour milk before sugar? Yeah, apparently it’s rude! And you HAVE to carry the saucer when you drink your tea. Leaving it down on the table is a big no-no.

But it was fun to just be with girls and ATTEMPT to be ladylike. (:

Roweena.

I’m a little teeeapooot!

It’s over.

It’s so funny how a year has passed by. And how much strong we grew as a team and even stronger as friends. My life would be incomplete without these girls; Carrie, Li Ling, Resh, Shalina and Tsennie.

The next journey we have is to endure long and painful months of studying before SPM.
And after that?
Another long and painful journey to look for prom dresses (and dates ;) )

Tanisha and JuLi, you guys earned best interactors.
Cause you guys really are the best (:

Time for us to start a new chapter.
In other words,
it’s time to study :/
